Freedove believes “Music Sets The Soul In Flight.” Emerging from the Crescent City, this New Orleans bred versatile vocalist/songwriter/producer and performer combines a mélange of funk, rock, blues and gospel she powerfully serves up in her own brand of musical gumbo she dubs “Funk N Soul.”
She has trekked the worldwide globe singing on international stages & lending her voice to various recordings with artists such as Duran Duran, Urge Overkill, MC Lyte, Shanice, Julio Iglesius, Jr., Coati Mundi, The Wild Magnolias, Busta Rhymes, Zhane', Cyrille Neville, AJ Loria, Joe Battan, Russian superstars Alexy Chumakov, Leonid Agutin, Philipp Kirkorov, DJ Smash, et al.
Freedove first found her rhythm with the German-based dance music outfit, Infinity, cowriting and recording an EP that produced a minor hit of her own, In the Name of Love(Shift/Warner Chappell). The song was also released on Dancemania compilations worldwide & on the Russian compilation Tanzmission 9, securing a sub-publishing deal for the artist with Warner Chappell Publishing and followed up by the single, Free.
The powerhouse joined Duran Duran on the remake of John Lennon’s “Instant Karma” to benefit Amnesty International’s Save Darfur campaign. The energetic performer has frequently brought her captivating voice to audiences in Siberia, Australia and Brazil for music residencies, including Teatro Action clubs in Moscow & Siberia, Russia & The New Orleans Ladies of Soul Tour in San Paolo & Rio, Brazil.

Her lyrical content, cover the gamut of issues including society, love, spiritual consciousness, relationships and all of life in between.
ACTIVISM & OUTREACH
Freedove says she desires to continually make music to uplift, to heal, to incite dialogue, and mostly, to bring joy and hope to listeners. “I believe that every situation provides an opportunity to choose fear or faith, to grow, discover and learn. Life is a beautiful gift, and I’m blessed to be a vessel that is privileged to share the gift of music with others.” But she doesn’t just limit her sharing to the stage.
Freedove has volunteered at the Francis Residence in Brooklyn, NY, a transitional home for young homeless women and their infants, held positive living workshops mentoring teens and young adults at Little Flowers Developmental Center and ministered at NY’s Rikers Island Prison Complex with Stepping Stones Ministry.
While on a tour of Russia, Freedove carried her humanitarian spirit abroad, sharing with local students in song and message. “The shows, the audiences were great! But I have to say, laughing, sharing and connecting with the little ones, was the highlight of my trip.”
Fleet For Peace Radio released their first CD compilation, ‘Listen Up’ which features Freedove’s inspirational single Rise. 100% of the monies raised from the sales of the ListenUP CD will be donated to the new “Eyes of Faith” National In-House Deliverance Women’s Ministry, which help assist women dealing with drug and alcohol abuse and elicit lifestyles.
To commemorate the 7 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Freedove released her inspirational single The One, a message of hope, written by Freedove and produced by Gil Small of Groove City Productions. “There is still a lot that needs to be done and some are still struggling daily to put their lives back together in New Orleans and surrounding areas, and for them, a little help goes a long way.”
